MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Football Program is excited to showcase the latest facility updates for the team, including the McFarland Players' Lounge and the Thomason Equipment Room.
"
We are so grateful to the McFarland and Thomason Families for their generous contributions to the locker room project," said Head Coach and Athletic Director Hud Jackson.
"The McFarland player lounge and the Thomason equipment room are two important parts of this wonderful project. Both of these families are true believers in UAM Football and building something special. Our football players deserve to have something really nice. These two families because of their generosity will play a big part in the recruiting process in our football program. We truly believe that the Kenneth H. Hunt Performance Center and our new weevil locker room will help us to get quality student-athletes to UAM."
Ronnie and Betty McFarland came to UAM on Friday to witness the completed player lounge boasting their name. The lounge is complete with custom UAM couches, bean bag chairs, televisions, and PS5s for our student-athletes to kick back and enjoy after a day of practice, training, or watching film.
The facility is in the old equipment room and has been completely remodeled to give the team a refreshing spot to enjoy.
