MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) Athletics Department has announced a collaboration with Monticello Coffee Company to create and distribute a UAM-curated coffee roast, Weezy Brew, in support of the UAM Boll Weevils and Cotton Blossoms.

"We're extremely excited about working with Monticello Coffee Company to promote Weezy Brew," Hud Jackson, UAM Director of Athletics, said. "What a great idea by Annette and Lore. It allows us to get our brand out there and promote our great University and their great Coffee Company. They are true supporters of UAM, and we enjoy their partnership."

Weezy Brew coffee is a special blend of Colombian & Guatemalan coffee, producing tasting notes of brown sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and hazelnut. This small-batch coffee is roasted right here in southeast Arkansas, at Monticello Coffee, on a Bellwether zero-emissions roaster.

Weezy Brew is currently available for purchase at Monticello Coffee Company for $25, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting UAM Athletics, online orders coming soon. This special-curated coffee will also be available at all home sporting events inside the newly renovated Steelman Field House beginning January 15, at a selling price of $25, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting UAM Athletics.

In addition to the Weezy Brew roast, Monticello Coffee Company is also rounding up for the Weevils. Upon completing a purchase, customers will have the opportunity to round up their transaction to the next dollar in support of UAM Athletics.
