EDMOND, Okla. – Following their two losses on Friday, the University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team closed out their non-conference series against the University of Central Oklahoma with a second doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. The Weevils came out with a 0-4 loss to the Bronchos in game one, followed by a 5-2 loss in game two.

Scoring Recap:
The first game consisted of bad luck for the weevils, losing the 7 inning game 0-4. The Weevils had the bats moving but the Bronchos were able to funnel everything UAM put into play.
The Bronchos scored in the third and fifth inning on multiple RBI and a wild pitch, allowing them the lead of 4-0.
The effort from the Weevils would prove not enough as the seven inning game came to a close with a 4-0 UAM loss.

Scoring Recap:
In the 9 inning game, the Weevils fought hard and did eventually score some runs in the top of the 9th.
The Weevils runs were not enough as they would once again fall to the Bronchos to close out the weekend.
