MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team traveled to Edmund Oklahoma for a non-conference series against the University of Central Oklahoma, and played a doubleheader Friday afternoon. The Weevils came out with a 9-4 loss to the Bronchos in game one, followed by a 2-1 loss in game two.
Game 1, 9 Innings

Scoring Recap:
The game started of 1-1 for both teams, with the Bronchos scoring on a double in the first, followed by a run for UAM in the bottom half of the inning on an error.
UCO home runs in both the third and fourth would give them a 4-1 lead over UAM.
But the bottom of the 6th inning brought up a rally from the Weevils, with two doubles from
Gunner Haskins, RBI, and
Graham Gonzales would get the Weevils scoring again. Haskins would score on a SAC fly from
Parker Dorrance and Gonzales crossed the plate on a wild pitch.
A six-run top of the ninth for Central Oklahoma was the final nail in the coffin, as the game concluded with a 9-4 loss for the Weevils.

The Weevils would start game two on a sour note, with Central Oklahoma coring first on a wild pitch in the 1st inning.
Roc Hawthorne tied the game up with an RBI single in the 3rd to bring home
Noah Estrem.
Central Oklahoma would score from another wild pitch in 6th inning.
The Weevils would be unable to respond and end up closing out the double header with a 2-1 loss.
