SHAWNEE, Okla. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team traveled to Oklahoma Baptist University on Friday afternoon to open their conference series against the Bison. The Blossoms closed out game one of the series with a 2-1 loss to the Bison in nine innings.

Scoring Recap:
The Bison were the first team on the board, scoring the opening run on a ground ball.
Courtnee Sensibaugh tied the game in the third with a solo home run to center field.
After five and a half scoreless innings for both teams, Oklahoma Baptist was able to secure the win in the ninth on an error.
The loss on the day drops Arkansas-Monticello to a 12-16, 4-8 GAC record in the 2024 season.
