BETHANY, Okla. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team traveled to Bethany, Oklahoma for their conference series with Southern Nazarene University. The Boll Weevils came out of the series opener with an 8-3 loss to the Crimson Storm.

Scoring Recap:
Chaz Poppy drove in the first run of the game in the first with a solo home run to right field. Cade Cancilla and Roc Hawthorne each drove in a run in the second to extend UAM's lead to 3-0.

Unfortunately, the Crimson Storm would score eight runs throughout the remainder of the game and Monticello was unable to respond.

Today's game drops Arkansas-Monticello to a 14-12, 11-5 GAC record for the 2024 season.
