EL DORADO, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello men's golf team traveled to El Dorado, Arkansas to compete in the Men's Arkansas Collegiate, hosted by Southern Arkansas University, on Monday afternoon at the Mystic Creek Golf Club. UAM finished day one of the tournament in 11th place.
Owen Page led the way for UAM on day one of the Men's Arkansas Collegiate Tournament. Page shot a 81 in his first round of 18, finishing day one tied for 34th.
TJ Baker was the next
Weevil on the leader board, closing out round one with a score of 83, and ending the day tied for 42nd.
Daniel Taylor and
Chase Kisver each carded an 85 on the day, setting them up tied for 48th place heading into day two of the tournament.
Ethan Bearden finished day one tied for 54th place, shooting a 14-over 86.
Aidan Rooke shot a 87 in his opening 18 holes. Rooke finished day one of the tournament tied for 57th.
Grant Mohesky was the final Weevil on the day, shooting a 97 in his opening 18 holes. Mohesky finished round one of the tournament in 69th place heading into day two.
