WEST POINT, Miss. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Men's Golf team finished 9th in Delta State's Dunning Invitational, held in West Point, Mississippi, at the Mossy Oak Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.
The Weevils shot a final third-round score of 289 (+1), to finish the tournament at 900 (+36). Midwestern State took first after finishing with a three-round combined score of 5-under par (859.)
Freshman Landry Rogers, competing individually led the Weevils, finishing tied for eighth, 217 (+1), after shooting a third-round even (72).
Sophomore Chase Kisver and Senior Owen Page would finish tied for 29th, 8-over par (224). Kisver shot a final round of 3-under par (69), while Page shot a 73 (+1).
Junior Daniel Taylor shot a third-round 3-over par (75) to finish with a 227 (+11) total, tying for 41st.
Senior Aidan Rooke fired even-par in his final round to finish tied for 49th, 14-over par (230).
Freshman Carson Slaughter finished the tournament for the Boll Weevils with a final round of 76 (+4), finishing 60th at 21-over par (237).

The Weevils are back on the greens Monday, Sept. 30, and Tuesday, Oct. 1, as they tee off in the Battle of the Belt tournament hosted by Henderson University at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
