EDMOND, Okla. - The Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevils golf team finished the final round of the Skip Wagnon Invitational presented by Visit Edmond on Tuesday afternoon. The Weevils combined for a final round total of 292 (+12), for a three-round final total of 872 (+32) to finish the invitational in 15th place.
St. Mary's of Texas took home the title with a final team score of 34-under par (806). The Boll Weevils were the sixth-best finishing team of the Great American Conference members competing in the tournament.
Blayden Gillham closed out the tournament tied for 50th after shooting a 74 (+4) in round three, finishing 7-over par after three rounds.
Landry Rogers tied for 58th in the tournament, shooting 8-over par after posting a 73 (+3) in his final round.
Sawyor Hamilton shot a 72 (+2) in his final round, concluding his tournament run tied for 67th at 10-over par.
Daniel Taylor finished the tournament tied for 73rd at 11-over par, shooting a 73 (+3) in his final round.
Carson Slaughter rounded out the Boll Weevils, finishing tied for 83rd at 13-over par, after a round three of 75 (+5).
The Boll Weevils combined for 11 birdies on the final day, for a three-round combined total of 36.
NEXT TIME ON THE LINKS: The Weevils will return play to the links on Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21 for the 2025 Darrell Foreman Invite - Day 1, hosted by Delta State University. The invite will take place at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, MS.
