UAM STUDENT CONTEST: STUDENTS! With conference in action for basketball, you have the opportunity to enter to win the Union Bank $10,000 Full Court Putt Challenge on February 28! At each home game, students can enter once at the women's game and once at the men's game, until halftime of each. (That's two entries per game day) The more games you attend, the more entries you have to be drawn from for your chance at the $10,000 contest! One lucky student will be drawn at the final home game of the season to putt a golf ball 94 feet down the full Steelman Field House basketball court for $10,000, with a regulation putter and ball. BUT, at each home game prior, a student will be chosen to shoot a free throw for $100.
This week, it stands at $300 if the shot is made. If that shot is missed, then the money rolls over to the next week. There is a possibility of a $900 free-throw shot, on top of the $10,000 full-court putt, if no one makes it.
