SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Arkansas-Monticello men's golf team completed the Rattler Invitational, hosted by St.Mary's University, Tuesday afternoon finishing in 14th place. The Boll Weevils finished the remaining three holes of the second round of the invitational after suspending play Monday evening due to darkness, before commencing the third and final round combining for a three-round team score of 908 (+44). 

The scores below represent the completed second and third rounds of the invitational.
 

Sophomore Chase Kisver led the Weevils finishing the day tied for 31st with a score of 8-over par (224). Kisver completed the second round 2-over par (74), then shot even-par (72) in the third round.  

Tying for 45th, 11-over par (277), was senior Owen Page. Owen finished out the invitational with a 77 (+5) in the second round and shooting 2-over par (74) in the final round.

Next up for Monticello was junior Daniel Taylor who fired a second round of 5-over par (77) in the second round and tallied a 75 (+3) in the third round. His three-round combined score put him tied for 53rd, with 13-over par (229)

After scoring a 77 (+5) in the second round freshman Connor Whitworth posted 7-over par (79) in round three to finish the invitational tied for 62nd, 15-over par (231)

Rounding out Arkansas-Monticello was freshman Landry Rogers who finished with a final score of 233 (+17) to tie for 69th. Rogers posted a 79 (+7) in the second round, before firing 5-over par (77) to complete the day.

Combined, the Boll Weevils posted 27 birdies for the invitational, with Owen Page recording an eagle in the third round.

The Boll Weevils will continue their season on Monday, March 3 at the Shadow Valley Country Club as they compete in the Shadow Valley Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
