Box Score MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Women's Basketball team fell to the Lady Bulldogs of Southwestern Oklahoma State University on Friday night. The Blossoms came out with a 57-46 loss.
Bailey Harris led the way for Arkansas-Monticello (10-15, 5-14 GAC) with 17 points on the evening. Harris was 5-12 on total field goals, going 2-3 from distance. She was also 5-6 from the free throw line while contributing 11 rebounds for a double-double, one assist, two blocks, and three steals in her 36 minutes on the court.
Southwestern Oklahoma (14-11, 10-9 GAC) was led by
Layni Zinn with 20 points.
Southwestern Oklahoma won the opening quarter of the game, outscoring the Blossoms 11-4. The Blossoms fought back in the second quarter, but came up just short to the Lady Bulldogs, 14-13. The teams would head to the locker room at the half with SWOSU on top, 25-17.
The Blossoms continued their fight coming out of the locker room to match the Lady Bulldogs, scoring 13 points a piece. Southwestern Oklahoma's offense pushed forth, outscoring UAM 19-16 in the fourth quarter, to conclude the game with a 57-46 loss for the Blossoms.
Arkansas-Monticello committed 26
turnovers in the entirety of the match.

The Blossoms will take the court again on Sunday, February 20 as they welcome the Lady Rangers of Northwestern Oklahoma State University to Monticello, with tipoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
