MONTICELLO, Ark. - The Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevils basketball team welcomed the Bisons of Harding University to Steelman Fieldhouse on Thursday night for Senior Night and the last home GAC game of the season. The Weevils came up just short of taking down the Bison falling, 75-52, in the final moments.

Devin Davis led Arkansas-Monticello (4-23, 1-20 GAC) with 23 points in the game. Davis hit 9-14 field goals, 1-3 three-pointers, 4-6 shots from the free throw line while grabbing three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Seth Grandberry was the other Weevil in double-digits, scoring 12 points of his own. Grandberry was 5-12 on field goals, 1-4 on three-pointers, and 1-3 on free throws with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Harding (18-9, 14-7 GAC) was led by
 Josh Denton with 20
 points.
The Weevils struggled to keep up with the Bison offense in the opening half of the game, getting outscored 35-22. UAM was held to a 27.3% field goal percentage in the period, eventually heading to the locker rooms.
The second 20-minute period proved to be won by Harding, as they outscored the Weevils 40-30. The Bison increased their lead to a game-high 23 points, holding the lead for the remainder of the game, eventually taking a 75-52 win over Monticello.
