MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello baseball team welcomed the #15 ranked Bisons of Harding University to Weevils Field at Union Bank Park Tuesday night for a midweek non-conference meeting. For the second time this season, the Boll Weevils bested a top-25 team as they shutout the Bisons, 7-0, in nine innings.

Scoring Recap:
Arkansas-Monticello recorded all seven runs on the evening, taking the first off the Bison in the first as Kirk Woolf singled to bring home Roc Hawthorne.

The second inning saw the biggest outing for the Weevils scoring four runs on four hits. Chase Cripps and Justin Santoyo would both round home as Cade Cancilla singled to the left side. A home run blast over the right-center wall from Roc Hawthorne would run in Cancilla, to make it a, 5-0, ball game.

The Weevils plated two more runs between the fifth and sixth innings to take the lead 7-0. A double from Cripps scored Chaz Poppy in the fifth and Eli Marvin would score as Cancilla doubled down the left-field line in the sixth. The Weevils would take the midweek game 7-0 shutting out Harding.

Pitching Performances
- Tyler Bribiescas started on the mound for the Weevils pitching 4.0 innings allowing only four hits while striking out four batters to earn the win.
- Ryan Mesaris entered for the Weevils in the fifth and faced three batters allowing just one hit in his 1.0 inning of work.
- Dylan Vail was next up for UAM and faced five batters in the sixth.
- Adam Armstrong saw action on the mound for Arkansas-Monticello facing three batters striking out two in his 1.0 inning of work.
- Max French was called from the bullpen and pitched 1.0 innings allowing one hit from the four batters he faced.
- Ruben Macias closed out the remaining 1.0 innings facing four batters and striking out one.

- Roc Hawthorne - 2-for-5 with a home run, a stolen base, 2 RBI, and two runs scored.
- Cade Cancilla - 2-for-4 with a double, 3RBI and one run scored.
