MONTICELLO, Ark. - Due to forecasted inclement weather in Searcy, Arkansas this weekend the Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevil baseball team has shifted their three-game GAC series with the #15/18th ranked Bisons of Harding University to Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28. All three games will still take place at Jerry Moore Field in Searcy with game one's first pitch set for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, with the remaining two games to be played as a doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

LAST MEETING
Harding University - In the last meeting the Weevils shutout the Bisons 7-0 on Tuesday, March 18. Arkansas-Monticello recorded all seven runs on the evening, taking the first off the Bison in the first as Kirk Woolf singled to bring home Roc Hawthorne. The second inning saw the biggest outing for the Weevils scoring four runs on four hits. Chase Cripps and Justin Santoyo would both round home as Cade Cancilla singled to the left side. A home run blast over the right-center wall from Roc Hawthorne would run in Cancilla, to make it a, 5-0, ball game. The Weevils plated two more runs between the fifth and sixth innings to take the lead 7-0. A double from Cripps scored Chaz Poppy in the fifth and Eli Marvin would score as Cancilla doubled down the left-field line in the sixth. The Weevils would take the midweek game 7-0 shutting out Harding. Tyler Bribiescas was the winning pitcher of the night.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Harding University - The Boll Weevils trail the Bison 58-66 all-time, dating back to their first match-up in April of 1976, a 2-8 loss for UAM. Harding and Arkansas-Monticello have met a24 times, with the Weevils standing at 31-33 at home, 23-30 on the road in Searcy, and 4-3 at neutral locations. The boys in green and white have brought 738 Boll Weevils since the first game averaging 5.95 runs per game. The largest margin of victory over the Bison came in March of 2002 when the Weevils won 19-2. The last time these two teams met in conference play the Weevils won the series 2-1, 13-2 (7 innings), 3-1, 4-8.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE WEEVILS
The Boll Weevils dropped their Tuesday night non-conference midweek to the Reddies of Henderson State, 11-9.
