FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's golf team finished the Shadow Valley Invitational on Tuesday tied for seventh place. After more than a 19-hour delay, the Boll Weevils resumed action at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday to complete the remaining three holes that were left unfinished due to darkness Monday night. The third and final round of the invitational was called off due to inclement weather still forecasted for Fayetteville. Arkansas-Monticello finished the tournament with a combined team score of 14-over par (622).

The results below represent the second round following the completion of all 18 holes, and the final standings of the tournament upon the calling of round three.

Senior Owen Page led the Boll Weevils in the final round, firing 3-over par (75), to finish tied for ninth with a combined score of 151 (+7)

Combining for a two-round final score of 10-over par (152) was sophomore Chase Kisver. Kisver tied for 22nd after carding a 3-over par (75) in the second round.

Tying for 48th place with a score of 159 (+15), was freshman Connor Whitworth who put up 6-over par (78) in the final round of the invitational.

Senior Aidan Rooke shot a 10-over par (82) in the second round to finish the invitational tied for 64th, with a final score of 18-over par (162).

Closing the invitational out for Arkansas-Monticello was junior Daniel Taylor. Taylor improved on his first-round score, by firing a second round of 78 (+6), to finish tied for 76th, with a combined total of 167 (+23)

UP NEXT FOR THE WEEVILS: The Boll Weevils will return to the greens on Monday, March 24 to take part in the Arkansas Collegiate Tournament in El Dorado, Arkansas at the Mystic Creek Golf Club.
