CLINTON, Miss. – The Arkansas-Monticello baseball team hit the road on Wednesday for a midweek game against the Choctaws of Mississippi College. The second game this year against MC proved to be a tough battle as the Boll Weevils fell to the Choctaws, 0-3, falling to 10-8 on the year.

Scoring Recap:
The midweek contest remained scoreless through 5.5 innings before the Choctaws put the only three runs of the game on the board in the bottom of the sixth without ever recording a hit. Mississippi College scored the first run off a sacrifice fly to center field before a bases-loaded walk plated the second run. The third and final run of the game came in for MC off a UAM wild pitch, giving the Choctaws the win, 3-0.

Ruben Macias started on the mound for the Weevils pitching 3.0 innings allowing just one hit and striking out the only batter of the night.

Nathan McManus was called from the bullpen and pitched 1.0 innings allowing one hit.

John White would make an appearance pitching 1.0 innings and facing three batters, allowing no runs and no hits.

Dylan Vail entered the game for the Weevils and allowed three runs in his 0.2 innings.
