MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball teams is set to trek to Arkadelphia, Arkansas Tuesday, April 15 for a non-conference midweek game with the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist University. The midweek affair will see first pitch thrown at 3:00 p.m. from Rab Rodgers Field.

LAST MEETING
Ouachita Baptist University - The Tigers bested the Boll Weevils taking all three games, 1-4, 1-3, 13-14. Ouachita scored the first run late in the game scoring their first run off a throwing error in the seventh. The Weevils would tie the game in the bottom of the ninth as Chaz Poppy scored off a single to right from Aidan Garrett, sending the contest to extra innings. The Tigers wanting to end the game scored three runs off a bases-loaded single to left field, taking the game. With the Weevils unable to produce a run in the bottom of the inning the Tigers took game one, 4-1.  Justin Santoyo scored the Weevils lone run of the game in the second off a home run to center field. Ouachita took the lead over UAM in the fourth scoring three runs and then kept Arkansas-Monticello at bay the remainder of the game to win, 3-1, in seven innings. The Tigers set the stage for what proved to be a thrilling four-hour hit fest in game three by adding three runs in the first two innings. The Weevils took the lead in the bottom of the second, as Elijah Nichols brought in Logan Jones off a triple to center field. Beau Kuttenkuler brought in himself and Nichols on a two-run bomb to centerfield, another center field bomb off Kirk Woolf would plate Roc Hawthorne. A sacrifice ground out wrapped up the scoring for the Weevils as Camden Tanner rounded home. Ouachita added runs in every inning between the third and sixth to take the lead back from the Weevils, 10-6. Arkansas-Monticello cut the lead to just one in the sixth, as Hawthorne tripled to center field, plating Kyle Tolley and Nichols, Hawthorne himself came in as Woolf singled down the left field line. Not going out quietly the Tigers crossed two more in the seventh, but the Weevils took the lead once more in their half of the inning as a bases-loaded Ouachita error cleared the field, and a Camden Tanner single through the right side made it 13-12. Ouachita would take the lead once more and never let go adding runs in the eighth and ninth to take the game, 14-13, and the series, 3-0.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE WEEVILS
The Weevils went 3-4 last week, taking a midweek game over Delta State, 7-6, and clinching the series 2-1 over the Savage Storm going 9-12, 19-9 (7 inn.), 15-3.
