MONTICELLO, Ark. - In a relocated Sunday matchup, the Arkansas-Monticello Blossoms softball team (14-21, 8-13 GAC) gave up six late runs to the Ouachita Baptist Tigers (15-26, 6-15 GAC), resulting in an 8-1 defeat in the series opener.
Due to inclement weather in Arkadelphia, the game was moved to Monticello High School for game one.

Scoring Recap:
The Tigers quickly scored the first run of the game off a sacrifice fly in the top of the first.
The Blossoms tied the game in the third, adding their lone run to the board, as
Jadyn Hart singled down the left field line scoring
Lainey Tippen.
With the game tied one a piece, OBU would find the momentum to add six runs in the fifth.
The final run of the game crossed in favor of Ouachita in the six, helping the Tigers to an 8-1 victory.
