TULSA, Okla. - Arkansas-Monticello's Men's Golf team closed out the final day of NSU Men's Golf Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon. The Weevils finished the final round of the tournament with a combined score of 307 (+23), helping them place 20th overall in the tournament with a three-round combined score of 906 (+54).
Central Oklahoma took home the title with a final team score of 24-under par (828). The Boll Weevils were the ninth-best finishing team of the Great American Conference members competing in the tournament.
Landry Rogers closed out the tournament tied for 21st after shooting a 73 (+2) in round three, finishing 1-under par after three rounds.
Carson Slaughter tied for 96th in the tournament, shooting 16-over par after posting an 80 (+9) in his final round.
Daniel Taylor shot a 77 (+6) in his final round, concluding his tournament run tied for 103rd at 19-over par.
Camden Henson finished the day tied for 105th place, shooting a 77 (+6) in his final round.
Blayden Gillham rounded out the Boll Weevils, finishing in 108th place after a round three of 81 (+10).
NEXT TIME ON THE LINKS: The Weevils head to the Hot Springs Country Club (Arlington Course) in Hot Springs, Arkansas for the 9th Annual Battle of the Belt hosted by Henderson State University. The opening round of the tournament tees off on Monday, Sept. 29.
