MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team (15-9, 12-3 GAC) closed out its weekend series with Southwestern Oklahoma State (14-13, 6-9 GAC) on Saturday, leaving game three with a 12-2, run-rule win over the Bulldogs to complete the series sweep.

Scoring Recap:
Camden Tanner kicked off the scoring for the Boll Weevils, sending a lead-off, solo shot over the left field wall in the bottom of the first.
The Bulldogs found the equalizer with a home run of their own over the right field wall in the top of the second.
Arkansas-Monticello tacked on four cushion runs in the bottom of the second, with
Darcy Barry scoring the first on a
Caden Carney single to right field.
Kyle Tolley ran in via a sacrifice bunt from
Gabe Kuttenkuler. Singles from
Camden Tanner and
Eli Marvin plated Carney and Tanner, respectively, with the Weevils headed to the fifth leading 5-1.
The Weevils made it a 7-1 ballgame in the bottom of the fourth as a bases-loaded wild pitch scored Tanner, and a bases-loaded ball four to Barry walked in
Daniel Lizarraga.
Headed to the bottom of the fifth, the Bulldogs once again allowed the Weevils to load the bases. Marvin would face ball four to walk in Tanner, before a single to right field from Jackson Rielding plated
Elijah Olaybal and Tanner to end the inning with a 10-1 advantage for UAM.
SWOSU scored its final run of the game in the top of the sixth, courtesy of a single to right field.
Arkansas-Monticello placed the last two runs of the ball game in the bottom of the sixth, as
AJ Keely doubled down the left field line to bring home Tolley. Keely himself crossed home on a single from Tanner. The men in green and white held the Bulldogs scoreless in the seventh to run-rule, 12-2.

Aiden McGee got the call from the bullpen and allowed one run on one hit, with two strikeouts in his 2.0 innings on the mound.
