Southeastern grew its lead to as much as 20 points in the first half at the 9:40 mark, before UAM used a 21-7 scoring run over the next six minutes to trim the deficit to just six points with 3:07 left.

The Savage Storm recaptured its double-digit lead on the first possession of the second half, and held onto that double-digit advantage for the remainder of regulation. Southeastern led by as much as 28 points in the final minute of the game after outscoring UAM 40-24 in the final 20 minutes.
