BATESVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team got back on the winning track by recording victories in both of its matches on Saturday at the Lyon College Tri-Match. The Blossoms started the day with a 3-0 sweep over Central Baptist and followed with a 3-2 win over host Lyon College later in the day.

Final game scores of the sweep over CBC were 25-12, 25-11 and 25-18. Final game scores of the five-set win over Lyon were 25-22, 17-25, 14-25, 25-17 and 15-12. More information will be posted at uamsports.com when complete game statistics become available.

With the wins on Saturday, UAM improves its record to 7-9 overall heading into its conference road match against Henderson State on Tuesday, October 1. First serve is set set for 7 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia.
