RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - University of Arkansas at Monticello junior Katelyn Richbourg garnered Great American Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors, the league office announced Thursday. This is the second time this season the Magnolia, Texas, native has earned the award.

Richbourg recorded more than 30 digs in a match for the third time this season with 37 in the Blossoms' four-set win against Henderson State on Tuesday. It ranks as the second-highest total in a GAC contest this season, four behind her season-best 41. The Blossoms notched their first win against the Reddies since November 8, 2016.
