MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello's Women's Basketball team will take on in-state opponent Arkansas Tech University on Thursday, December 9th, in Russellville, Arkansas. The Blossoms will face the Golden Suns at 5:30 p.m. inside the Tucker Coliseum for their last match before the New Year. 

"Arkansas Tech is a tough place to play," said Head Coach David Midlick. "Talented well-coached team with a lot of tradition. We will have to be ready to compete."

LAST MEETING
Arkansas Tech University - The Golden Suns took the last meeting, 94-42, in January 2024. Bailey Harris was the leading scorer for Arkansas-Monticello with 12 points, going 3-12 on total field goals, 2-2 on threes, and 4-9 on shots from the free throw line. Harris was the leader in rebounds, grabbing three offensive and three defensive on the afternoon, while also contributing a steal in her 23 minutes. Alyssia Thorne followed behind with 9 points on the day. Thorne hit 3-11 field goals and 3-3 free throws, while also giving the Blossoms one offensive and four defensive rebounds on top of an assist and steal. Arkansas-Monticello committed 23 turnovers in the entirety of the match.
