DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello cheerleading program is heading back down to Dayton Beach, Florida for Nationals this weekend.
Head Coach Julie Barnes had this to say:
"I am very thankful for the opportunity to coach this talented team and watch them grow all season. They have worked so hard and put in countless hours to bring this routine to where it is today. I can't wait to see them perform on the mat at NCA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida."
Starting on Thursday, the team will be competing against 19 teams in the Intermediate Coed Division II. Two of those teams are from Arkansas, one being the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and the other being Great American Conference member Southern Arkansas University.
Last year the team left Nationals with a fifth place finish in the nation. You can see the releaseÂ
