DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The UAM Cheer team left the finals of its 2026 NCA College Nationals appearance in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Saturday afternoon. The team closes out the competition with a 5th in the nation finish in the Intermediate Small Doed Division.

After coming out of the prelims with a raw score of 80.0667 and a seventh-place placement, the team saw a fifth-place finish within the Intermediate Small Coed Division II Finals. The team saw only 0.25 points in deductions and held an event score of 91.6088.

The top five teams, from first to fifth, were: Saginaw Valley State (84.8, 93.3704), Lubbock Christian (84.2667, 92.1574), Northeastern State (83.6333, 92.0509), University of Texas-Permian Basin (83.1333, 91.8473), and UAM (83.4667, 91.6008)
