The University of Arkansas at Monticello Softball program announced its upcoming camp dates for 2024 on Monday.

UAM Softball will host the Summer Elite Camp on August 24 and the Fall Elite Camp on September 14.

The camps are for aspiring softball players between 7th and 12th grade who want to showcase their skills in all aspects of the game. Campers will receive skill instruction and be able to showcase their skills in all defensive position groups (pitching, catching, corner infield, middle infield, and outfield). Offensive skills include hitting, slapping, bunting, and base running.

Speed, arm strength, and exit velocity metrics will be measured and provided to all campers.  Pitchers will receive metric data as well. 

The campers will also be separated into competitive teams and participate in games and/or scrimmages. The attendees will interact with other prospects, current players, and coaches.

Camps will be limited to 40 Campers:  10 Pitchers, 10 Catchers, 20 Position Players.

In case of rain, the camp will move to the turf of the Jack and Judy Lassiter Indoor Practice Facility.
