MONTICELLO, Ark. – UAM Women's Basketball has announced the signing of eight student-athletes who will continue their playing career with the Blossoms in the 2025-2026 season.
Among the signees are six junior college transfers, one NCAA Division I transfer, and one high school senior. The additions bring the 2025-26 roster to a total of 12 players for UAM, linking up with returners,
Alindsey Long,
Taleigha Ealy,
Alyssa Batton, and
Nicole Weaver.
#2 | Ella Hamlin | Junior | Guard | 5-10 | Edmond, OK / Grayson College
"She is always around the basketball," said Coach Midlick.
"She gives 100 percent effort on every possession. Having come off an injury and now being healthy, she will have a full summer to work on her game. She has good size and strength at the wing spot. No one will outwork her."
Hamlin joins the Blossoms after two seasons with Grayson College. In her time with the Vikings, Hamlin played in 32 games, starting 17, with 144 total points. Over two years, her points per 40-minute is 36.1, with an average of 17.8 rebounds grabbed per 40 minutes.
#3 | Ana Vieira | Junior | Guard | 5-8 | Joinville, Brazil / Clarendon College
"She competes on every play," said Coach Midlick.
"She shot 45% from 3 at her junior college last season. I expect her to come in and do those two things every day, as well as be a mature leader for this team. She is a fiery competitor, and I like that a lot."
Vieira joins the Blossoms after spending the 2024-25 season with Clarendon. In her single year with the Bulldogs, Vieira posted 346 points across 32 games played and 29 starts. From beyond the arc, Vieira led the team with 97 three-pointers on the year, hitting 97 of 206 shots for an average of 47.1% success. Vieira hit five or more threes in 10 different games for the Bulldogs in the 2024-25 season.
#5 | Brilynn Findley | Sophomore | Guard | 5-7 | Bryant, AR / Delta State
"We recruited Brilynn out of high school, and I'm excited to have her at UAM now," said Coach Midlick.
"Having watched her both in high school and in AAU, she can make things happen in the open court on offense and can play really good defense. She competes at a high level and will continue to improve as her career progresses because she is a hard worker."
Findley will join the Blossoms after spending the 2024-25 season with the Lady Statesmen of Delta State. She comes to UAM after playing in 24 games, starting six, and averaging 12.1 minutes per game.
#12 | Ja'Nae Southall | Junior | Guard | 5-8 | Donaldsonville, LA / Panola College
"I went to watch a junior college player in Texas, and Ja'Nae was on the other team," said Coach Midlick.
"She caught my eye with her ability as a wing to get into the lane and make good decisions, her defensive ability, and her team-first attitude. I am excited to see how she will be this fall with a full summer of workouts."
Southall joins the Blossoms for the 2025-26 season after spending the previous two seasons with Panola College. In two years with the Fillies, Southall played in 55 games, while starting 41, and scoring 436 total points
#13 | Jena Warden | Freshman | Guard | 5-10 | Kountze, TX / Silsbee High School
"Jena caught my eye last spring during AAU tournaments," said Coach Midlick.
"She can play and defend multiple positions. She can score from 3 and on the drive, as evidenced from her averaging over 20 points per game her senior year of high school. She is a perfectionist and will work to be her best. She didn't back down from anyone in AAU, and I expect the same here at UAM."
Warden joins the Blossoms after a successful four-year varsity career with the Tigers of Silsbee High School. Through four seasons, Warden played in 121 games and scored a total of 1,871 points. She averaged 15.5 points throughout her high school career, with a senior season line of 22.2 ppg. She grabbed 455 rebounds and dished out 276 assists. Due to her performance in the 2024-25 season, Warden saw awards such as TABC All-Region and All-State, and was given the District MVP award. She was also a nominee for the 2025 McDonald's All-American game.
#20 | Opal Hardy | Junior | Forward | 6-0 | Taranaki, New Zealand / Crowder College
"She had to play out of position for her junior college team and never complained," said Coach Midlick.
"She has length and athleticism. She can run the floor, rebound, and play good defense in the post and on the perimeter. I am excited to see an expanded game with her summer work."
Hardy comes to UAM after spending a season with Crowder College. In her season with the Roughriders, Hardy played in 29 games, starting six, and scored 226 points. She shot for just under 60%, while averaging 7.8 ppg and grabbing 106 total rebounds, or 3.7 per game.
#30 | Harper Biley | Junior | Forward | 6-2 | Houston, TX / Blinn College
"Harper is a versatile post that can score with her back to the basket as well as when she faces up to the basket," said Coach Midlick.
"She can run the floor in transition. She can guard in the post and out on the perimeter. I believe her ceiling is as high as she wants to work to improve. People around Monticello may remember her dad, Ken, who played on the 1994 Arkansas national championship team."
Biley is coming to Monticello after spending a season with the Buccaneers of Binn College. The Houston, Texas native played in 27 games in the 2024-25 season, grabbing 80 total rebounds with 27 offensive and 53 defensive, for an average of three rebounds per game. Biley posted 101 total points with the Buccaneers.
Keira Williams | Junior | Guard/Forward | 5-9 | Coffs Harbour, Australia / Laramie County Community College
"She shoots the ball well," said Coach Midlick.
"She can guard multiple positions. I believe she will fit in well with the style we will attempt to play. She is tough on the court and will do what the team needs to be successful."
Williams will join the Blossoms after competing with the Golden Eagles of Laramie Cunty Community College in the 2024-25 season. She comes to UAM after scoring 175 total points, averaging 7.29 ppg through 24 games played.
The Blossoms' 2025-26 season will officially tip off in 164 days, when UAM travels to Fort Smith, Arkansas, for the season opener. The season schedule is officially available at uamsports.com, pending a few opponent decisions still to be made.
