University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics

The late Boyd Miller was the school’s first basketball star of the postwar era, lettering four years at forward from 1949 to 1952.

He was a three-time first team All-AIC selection in 1950, ’51 and ’52 and is one of just six players in school history to earn first team all-conference honors three times.

Mr. Miller was a successful basketball and football coach at Stuttgart High School before leaving coaching.
